courtship with cancer

A surprise diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer partnered with me to welcome the new year of 2006! With just a few symptoms, surprise is putting it mildly.
After a successful surgery,6 months of 5-FU leucovorin,& avastin I had 2 1/2 years of remission yea!!
Disappointment came in Feb. 2009 when some lung “spots” lit up on a cat scan welcoming me back to the world of treatment. After 7 months of Erbitux &Irinotecan these 2 wonder drugs had no effect on the so called spots. I’m now in the process of repeating the 2006 routine. not looking foreword to the drill, but celebrating the future cure ( I choose to call it that)I experienced 4 years ago.
Any one share a similar story? it would help a great deal. I continue to feel great, look great so they tell me,& have a great deep faith for the future. Look forward to some sharing on this crazy cancer world.
