My first seizure (grand-mal) occured two days after my son was born. The doctor informed me that it was a result of low iron due to blood loss. I did not have another seizure until five years later, at which time I started having them every two to three months for about a year. Then about once a year after starting the atkins diet and lamictal. I am currently taking Keppra and lamictal but I still have breakthrough seizures about once a year. I am more prone to seizures during monthly menstration. I would like to know if anyone else is experiancing the samething. Comments
