To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download what’s not up I’m a 48 yr male who up to four or five years ago was greatly pleased with my sexual performance. I underwent and continue to undergo methadone treatment for pain management, and have for the last year or so been reducing my dosage in an attempt to wean myself off the drug. My high was about 140mg/day and today I’m at 14mg/day. I was made aware of the sexual side effects prior to beginning the treatment. After my first year there did not appear to be any problems. Then I discovered the discharge was thickening, and at time, gel-like in consistency where portions would congeal and tiny blobs would appear to be similar to jelly beans. The next year my interest in any sex waned considerably, and finally there was no interest. I entered into a relationship this past year, and my partner was made aware of ED from the start, but by this time I had a ’script for testosterone (1 mil/14 days intermuscular injection). At first the treatment worked and eventually it tapered to nil. I tried Viagara [Viagra], and even that did not produce much help. I can get turned on, excited, and have an erection for a short period: to have an orgasm is next to impossible due to the time frame: usually over 3 hours. (This includes numerous erections and softening throughout the time). I’ve had my free level test. measured and am at 62 (well within the normal range) however, the ED continues. I am at a loss as to what to do. I do not have any other medical issues (non-diabetic, do not suffer from stress, depression etc.) Comments
