Legally Blind due to Glaucoma
by: Marcial L. on Mon, Feb 16 2009

I am a 44 years old man diagnosed with glaucoma 4 years ago, one of the most weird situation for people under my circumstances is that we don’t look blind and as a matter we are not totally blind, so what can I say if I don’t see a person besides me and I just hit that person with my shoulder turning around, what if I drop a glass of water in a public place because of the loss of my peripheral vision.

Even worst your inmediate relative do not understand because they notice that you can see something they believe Blindness does not exist from suffering glaucoma, people needs to get educated and relatives need to receive more information to help those who suffer living with major vision sight loss.

God bless us all
