pregnancy started it!

by: jenny on Tue, May 22 2007

I was about 4 mths pregnant when insomnia hit and suddenly I was awake for 3 nights at a stretch. I slept through a earthquake which moved the bed 2 foot across the room! My daughter is now 23 and my insomnia is still keeping me awake for nights on end.

What i dont understand is why I suddenly can’t sleep and, after say 10 nights of little or no sleep I suddenly sleep like a log. i am positive it is some chemical disorder in my body. I have tried everything, all types of pills and hypnosis, acupuncture and meditation They all work for a little while and then I’m back to normal. What do other people think?
