To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download The Curse I am a 56 y/o woman. At the age of 44 I was diagnosed with breast cancer At 50, uterine cancer. And in between, fibromyalgia. I am sorry to say that it has gotten the best of me. I have been disabled since 2003. The most recent symptom is interstitial cytitis (IC). I became very ill last June with a UTI which actually panned out to be IC There is no cure, of course, but the pain in unbearable and constant. I cannot find a doctor that is knowledgeable about this condition, even the urologist handed me a pamphlet stating there is no cure and it might be controlled by diet (basically eating nothing acidic, no coffee, tea, chocolate and one fruit! Cantalope! I have a difficult time eating and meal planning just with the fibromyalgia and have now lost 20 pounds because of diet restriction. I am certain it even makes a difference because I have not been out of pain since June. I am trying herbs and different things I have read about on the internet. Some days I don’t even get out of bed. The pain only subsides when I lie on my right side in bed after taking muscle relaxers. I am so depressed that I understand why people commit suicide when they suffer chronic pain. Any suggestions for the IC out there? What in God’s Name did I do to my bladder? I feel like I am being punished for some bad thing but I am unaware of what it is. Comments
