At first I thought it was the muscle bc of how I was laying but the pain didn’t go away when I got up. In about five minutes I was crying on the floor and sick to my stomach. My poor boyfriend (who looked terrified) took me to the ER and I was throwing up and it was horrible. The doctor found out that it was for sure a kidney stone. I even impressed him by knowing what a uterer was haha. so i was on an iv with pain meds and fluids and after i threw up the last time i felt fine, like it was over as sudden as it started. That was saturday and my parents drove up to get me and I had to go home. Then on Sunday I was studying for finals and around midnight I started getting the pain again. they perscribed me some painkillers and I took one but it didn’t seem to help. I knew what it was so it wasn’t NEARLY as bad and I drank tons of water and walked a lot bc I couldn’t find a comfortable position… it lasted about an hr and then I was fine. I haven’t been able to catch mine even though they gave me a filter at the ER. my dad and uncle have them so it doesn’t surprise me that I do but it really sucks. Glad i found this website… its provided a lot of insight.
