It was July17,2006 i took him to the Doc.because i noticed lumps by his growing and was not leaving until they told me something other then Asthma you would think the Doc. would take blood but i had to tel him can he please take blood from my son because i think he have an infection because i noticed those lumps and he said men&boys sometimes have lumps but thats normal but i insisted blood test anyway thinking its an infection ill get med. and he’ll be ok.We went on about our day thinking the Doc.would call and say it’s an infection.Well that phonecall at 10 that night changed my family’s lif forever. My boy had so many Cancer cells in his body that the Doc. could’nt beleive it.I had to leave my other kids and rush him to CHM as soon as i got the call.My boy have been threw soooooo….much in the past 3&ahalf years then i have been threw in 40 years. He had to start intense Kemo right away. His body was responding to the Kemo&the Doc. was hapy until Jan.2007 a spinnal tap showed that he had relapsed&it was bad he would need a Bone Marrow Transplant to beat this ugly disease so we went on the doner list praying he would get a match before it was to late.My sory is long so im going to shorten it up.He finnally got a match from a baby’s cord so a baby being born saved my Hero.He got his transplant Sept.2007& is doing good now he have post transplant problems but it’s not ALL anymore(Huray).MY son is my Hero becaus he never asked why me or complained and when he did complain it was’nt from the Cancer,Kemo or meds.that he was getting it was cause he got the Shingles& was in so mush pain and that was the only time he cried&complained of anything.Even though he was fighting with that ugly disease he still helped oter kids that was scared. He talked to kids and told them that everything was and would be ok.My son put so many smiles on those kids faces and made so many friends. He was strong for me and i know it should have been the other way around but thats why he’s my little Hero.Dont ignore the signs make your Doc. listen to you and not just tell you what they think i did and it saved my boy. They have to listen to us it could be a matter off life or death. I LOVE MY BOY Comments
