  My son at the age of 8, was diagnosed with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome–a migraine of the stomach. This condition made him vomit quite regularly every month from 1 to 5 days. He was treated with Periactin 4 mgs once a day at bedtime. His medication was revised often at this time. When he turned 11 he was no longer throwing up regularly, but was having head migraines and missing a lot of school. [more..]

  I have suffered with migraines since a teenager. They never used to be very common, always quite severe but have increased in number since having my three children. I quite often get a migraine with an aura, although not always. I can usually control them well if I take medication on immediate feeling of one occurring. Sometimes I don’t listen to my body and plod on and then I really pay for it! If I leave it too long no medication will work and I end up in bed for days in the dark! [more..]

  Hello to all. I am a 25 year old female that has been suffering from migranes [migraines] for about 8 years now. (Since I was 18).
