To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Salt and Migraines As a young man ( early teens ) I suffered from migraine blurred vision was followed by going numb on one side of my face and sometimes my body. My father took me to the doctors thinking I had a stroke The doctor put or minds at rest by assuring us it was Migraine The doctor also explained it was difficult to find a reason as people who suffered were effected by different things. So I suffered for many years to come until one time at work whilst having a migraine attack a work mate said it’s all those peanuts you’ve been eating. Having thought about this for a few days, I realised there was two ingredients: the nuts and the salt. I decided to experiment, I bought a pound in weight of plain peanuts. promptly eat the lot and braced myself two days passed by and nothing happened. I then took a salt tablet WHAM!!!! I was rewarded with one of the worst migraines I’d ever had, combine this with the fact I use to lace my meals with salt. For me I’d found the main cause of the problem. I immediately stop putting salt on my food and now at 53 years of age I have been virtually migraine free for about 25 years. Comments
