I am a 66 year male who is border line diabetic with it under control.
I just found out in April of this year, 2007 that I have cancer in my left lung. Having chest x-rays every year for several years, it was never caught until I started coughing up blood and I told my doctor this.

I’ve had two Doctors say with tests that im not a Dibetic [diabetic], One stated I was a pre-Dibetic [pre-diabetic], so I went to an Endocronologist [endocrinologist], He stated test showed I wasn’t a Dibetic but I had dibetic symptoms which was neuropathy in left foot which puzzled him, and it hurts daily.

I was diagnosed with diabetes in 1992, (I was 32) Since then I have had so much trouble in keeping my sugars normal. No matter what I do. I was diagnosed as type 2 first and in a years time I was giving myself shots of insulin and I currently have type 1 diabetes insulin dependent, on a pump.

i injured my back in 2000.afterwards i got a neuropathy the workers comp dr. stated it had nothing to do with injury, but they will never make me believe that.i never missed a day of work with the home health care.

Call me a dedicated daughter and niece because I lost my mom 20 mos. ago, when she became bedridden from complications from PN [peripheral neuropathy] and CMT [Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease].
