To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Degenerative Tendons and Nerves I am a 47 year old, female, overweight and diagnosed with Idopathic Peripheral Neuropathy and Degenerative/Chronic Tendonitis. To my understanding both of these are to be slow, but progressive diseases. My first surgery for the Peroneus Brevis and Peroneus Longus tendons was 6/06 on my left foot. No problems at that time with the right foot. By 12/06 my right foot was hurting worse than the left did after surgery. The same sugery was performed on my right ankle, in addition a calcani osteotomy was done. In addition, I have compressed and bulging discs in the cervical spine at c6 and c7, a compressed ulnar nerve in the left arm, degenerative disc and dengenerative disease in the Lumbar and Sacrum areas. Now I have wear KAFO’s on both feet. Right now I am having a hard time dealing with this because I am a very independant woman and need to be mobile. I fear gaining more weight and loosing my strenght and being wheel chair bound and loosing my independence. These were to be diseases that are slow in progress, to have dramatic changes in a 6 months to 1 year time frame to me seems pretty dramatic, not slow at all. If the Idopathic tendonitis and Peripheral Neuropathy causes and cures are unknown, how can the rates of loss be measured or projected? It would appear to be an individual event. Can someone give me more information as to their personal experience with these conditions? Thank you Comments
