My first experience with vertigo was in 2004. I woke up with it and could only crawl, with great difficulty, to the bathroom. I did not know what to do so I stayed in bed, unmoving, until the following day when my husband took me to the emergency room where they gave me shots of Valium which stopped the whirling.

I have been living every single day with non-stop vertigo for the last 11 months. Essentially, I am seeing and feeling everything as though it is on a tilt. For the first 6-7 months(starting in March 2009), I had seen and felt everything as though it was tilted to the left. I had become used to it, and though it was always present, found a way to work around it.

I was at work and enjoying a normal day sitting in a chair when out of no where the room started spinning. I held my head and closed my eyes to try to get control and it did not work. Then the nausea started.

I was on my way to visit my doctor in the afternoon; I slowed down before entering on highway when I turned my head on my left to see if was any car coming, then all the sudden my head spinning and I couldn’t concentrate driving.

Well ive been dealing with this for months on top of months I had experienced my first episode in 2009. it was awful I could hardly walk that day, I was staggering and loosing balance and everytime i walked on my feet I somehow was ending up walking on the heels of my feet I felt like I was stuck on a rollercoaster
