Sudden Dizziness
by: Nicka
on Wed, Feb 03 2010
I was on my way to visit my doctor in the afternoon; I slowed down before entering on highway when I turned my head on my left to see if was any car coming, then all the sudden my head spinning and I couldn’t concentrate driving. I slowly drove to my doctor’s office. She couldn’t find anything wrong with me. It was my first serious dizziness I still have to visit another doctor, to diagnose my problem.

- Dealing with Vertigo…… - by jesse - (Wed, Feb 24 2010)
I was recently diagnosed with Vertigo when a few nights ago I just didn’t feel right. Mine didn’t come on fast like a lot of others, but it was enough for me to go to the hospital and get checked out as it was so late and had no choice but to go to the ER. They ran me through an array of tests such as a pee test, blood work, EKG and a cat scan.

- Vertigo again - by jars - (Mon, Feb 08 2010)
My first experience with vertigo was in 2004. I woke up with it and could only crawl, with great difficulty, to the bathroom. I did not know what to do so I stayed in bed, unmoving, until the following day when my husband took me to the emergency room where they gave me shots of Valium which stopped the whirling.

- 24/7 Vertigo - by Richard - (Mon, Feb 08 2010)
I have been living every single day with non-stop vertigo for the last 11 months. Essentially, I am seeing and feeling everything as though it is on a tilt. For the first 6-7 months(starting in March 2009), I had seen and felt everything as though it was tilted to the left. I had become used to it, and though it was always present, found a way to work around it.

I was at work and enjoying a normal day sitting in a chair when out of no where the room started spinning. I held my head and closed my eyes to try to get control and it did not work. Then the nausea started.
